I Looked Up High

I have faced my enemies without anyone? s help
I? ve given my heart to uncertainty
I? ve gambled the coins that I had
I? ve drank from dried fountain
I? ve received many blows and almost died
My strength had reached the end

But I looked up high and discovered
that my help comes from there
(From The Lord)
So I called Him and He answered
me and rescued me and then I could move on
(Defeating enemies, no more doubts, and I drank the water of life)

They still think they are forever independent
And that prayer is just a lie
They call? crutches? true religion
Drinking in dried fountains
They receive blows until they almost die
Their strength will end one day
