Complacency toils away
Chain gangs on the ever expanding miserable topography
Economic prisons rise in the blink of an eye
Tethered one and all
Paving the black rivers that lead to a collective decline

Failing the very thing that nurtures survival
As our levee breaks Disorder slips through the cracks
No hope to sustain when we've outgrown our home
No longer able to stave off a tipping point towards collapse

All our roads lead to perdition

Feeding the Sheeple a steady diet of compelling distractions
Paving the roads leading to new middle ages
