I Wondered

I used to wonder was I different
Never knew it all
Had this feeling I wasn't needed
I had nothing to hold

I used to hide under the shadows
Like I didn't belong
Every night I talked to myself
Am I the one who's wrong?

I used to wonder why no one needs me
I did all I could
If I could live again I'll take the chance
I'd die I would

I used to wonder why I'm hated
I did nothing wrong
So I ran away
I ran away to where I belonged

I made memories, didn't need anyone
I had myself I would do it alone
I didn't care why I was left behind
By those people, by those faces that I pictured was mine

I did know sometimes we have downsides
Even though I tried to leave it behind
I couldn't live with that
I couldn't live the life I was living
I was dreaming, I was all lost

I used to wonder was I dreaming

I had no one to talk to no one for help
I was lost

Always sat by the road dreaming
Begging for something to change my life
Even though I knew it was a mess I was left behin
I was broken down I was dead inside
And no one looked trying to ask if I'm alright
