I am a fable
A tale to stoke caution
When somebody else tries to get what they want
They can take a look at me
And this badly bent body
And wonder how someone
Could do it so wrongly
I am boarded up
Body abandoned
No ivy is growing on the lengths of my hands
And I get what I want over again
But it's never enough
I want a new head
I am a symptom of the big social sickness
Caught in our waterways
And taking your children
You can cut your hair but it's a slippery slope
And you should be scared because fear stunts your growth
And you look in the mirror and the next thing you know
You wish you were here and there's nowhere else to go
