Down a Rabbit Hole

Rolling on high
And I am falling farther now than yesterday
And I am mystified
Down a rabbit hole, a solar castaway
It’s such a random gamble
This dive into the night
A breath upon a candle
From darkness goes the light
Woke up beside
A garden made of gems once thrown upon the sea
And I am mesmerized
To walk a path that fades into an open dream
Wonder at last “Who am I?”
What spirit lights the core?
What is a flash, but our lives?
Through darkness find the door
