In the Snow

It has all happened before and again
The hearts are frozen over
I hear no bird songs
The forests are covered in silver
Calm under the leaden skies
The vicious circle of eternity
Snowflakes are falling
Leading the kingdom of cold
The cold winds and groaning of the woods
No one here, just me alone
Amongst these dead cliffs
Only misery and sorrow echoing
The wind stroke up its song
Among the branches and cold stones
All life falls asleep until spring
Till the dawn carries away the dark
