Immersed in this desert of trees, in search of truth
Elusive, distant colors imprinted into my memories

A howling wind sieges this temple
Pillars collapse into the earth
Beneath flares of blinding light
In this moment I am lost

Further diminished, my hunger fuels the saga
My heart as relentless as the wolves
From the wound I drink the blood which floods into my hands
An oath, a promise, a pact

The silent stares, like dead eyes glazed

Remorse for my nature
