Do We Party?

I feel i can not make the sense
to run down a hillside
when i can sit upon the fence
and see the grass from both sides

I find i can not comprehend
to swim in this ocean
cause right now i have got a friend
who's drowned in emotion

I feel i can not make the time
to party with prayer books
when i can pray at any time
and still be overlooked

I think i can feel it now
i'll part at death's door
so where can i go now?
that's a party with closed doors

So this time looks a good time
to take my time and think
why this chance should be mine
why me this time.
