In Flames of Pain

The fire curses the century old wilderness
Burnt suffocating wind is felt in the fields
Branches, like arms, stretch towards the sky
And life is fading away in our forests

In flames of pain the era is ending
You see your home turned into ashes,
Through thousands of words and mournful silence
Nothing is forgotten and no one is forgiven.

Here, screaming with smoke like crying birds
The souls of trees are captured in flames
Mourn marks the helpless faces
No day passes without grave loss.
