Awakening

Awaken from my rest, a troubled sleep
Etched on my soul - worries deep
Pouring over a forgotten tome
For a secret within long unknown

Reaching through the veil of time
Covered in frost, fire and rime
I have seen a tormented vision
Images of death and the dead arisen

I extend my senses, I hear a warning cry
The death rattle of those about to die
Our foe is cunning and has taken us by surprise
Ensorcelled in secret, falsehood and lies

From mountainous heights through oceans of Ice

They have awoken - my friends of old
Summoned by my call

The skies light up
With cleansing fire
Charred dreams
Of the blackened spire

To march for one
To march for all
Too late for us
To stay this war

The path ahead, which winds and twists
My senses awake, which shudder and shifts
The lesser dark that remains
One is not one when these two are the same

By my side; are brothers in death
Warriors of light, guide our quest
