My Pills

I just wanna say thank you for my pills
They're what makes me better when I'm ill
Some days I take twice my daily fill
They're the only thing keeping me chill

Life is unremarkable until
My script is done and I need a refill
I know my doctors acting with good will
Except the fucking consultation bill

When I don't take my pills
It gives me such a thrill
It makes me feel so real
I would shoot to kill

I don't feel fulfilled
Life is all down hill
Because I'm mentally ill
