I dawn and find
A sentient shade of mine
Walking grey
Deceiving all but me

Chasing the stream
Oblivious to the pain
I take and deal
Refuse to think or feel

Is this me
Or just a memory
Stolen from a time
When things were
Not always misery
An echoshade of mine

Can't face today
Nor digest yesterday
Blind on a course
That denies there're paths to choose

I bring you doubt
That weaved this icy shroud
Mute thoughts can't melt
As they no longer know myself
