Abandoning Reality

No hope left for human life
Too far gone and in need ov
Extinction, a race in mid-decay
A petri dish gone far awry
We must perish in flame
For the horror we have wrought

There must be something beyond
A trace, a familiar fragment
As a beacon
To summon this primordial soul
Startled in a lucid waking dream
Wading thru the mundane world
Suffering in abject blindness

Seeking in a vision quest
That which lurks beyond the pale
A fantasy of infinity that exists without the scourge of man
Hunting thru the shadows of illuminated mind

Calling to the void
Begging for reply
Tearing thru dimensional walls
Folding into time

"follow me"
I hear it calling
Beckoning
Illusions surround me
But we say unanimously
"abandon life"

Walk into beyond
Leave this filth behind
The ever-churning bowels of humanity will digest itself in time

I quest beyond
I must understand this psychic spore
I need to know the depths of psychedelic hell
