Day in, Day Out

Unable to recognize a dream from reality
Stuck frozen on the bed
A smell of chemicals and sweat
Following the repeating patterns of failed life
Strange shapes occurring on the ceiling
Like an alien forms of life
With a mind of their own
Hallucinations of despair
Taking my mind out of the suffering
A sort of bizarre theatre
With a chaotic reason
A mind of their own
A short glimpse, gleam of light
My breathing has stopped
I am now floating into emptiness
