Deceit of Memory

In the light of day
Lost with no direction
Pleading for a chance
Forgottennot forgiven
Hope for another day
Bottled up in fear
Chasing the answers of
Lies in the atmosphere

In the dead of night
Relieved from the fear
No hope for a rewrite
Long for another year
Atleast there is peace
In the shadows of the night
Dreading the sunrise
I'll put up the daily fight

Once it all begins
So lost and forsaken
Searching yet again
Upon the horizon
The sun burns
