Feel the rush
Where the fractured souls
Rise from the dirt
And close the lids
Of the coffins held
Their flesh at rest
In Purgatory
Where the souls despaired
From the neglect
Of Father Time
Now their spirits roam
The Earth for meaning

Fractured souls
Haunting the world
That they once roamed
Searching for things
To fulfill the loss that comes from years
Of suppressed thirst
And heed the call
