I was a war orphan
Conscripted into a PMC
Forced to have three surgeries
To implant spinal circuitry
An enhanced child soldier
Expandable mechanized infantry
Until I found this ancient machine
Arise Barbatos, arise the new me

In this machine
I fight not for glory
But simply to exist
As reclaimed human debris

I am no longer just

I can face down any enemy
That would stand before me
The battlefield is where I prove I'm alive
To show I exist, before man and sky
