The burden of revelation
Draws a sea of empty stares
Descending while failing to make amends
The face of hope barren through the carbon lens

Oh, how they've fallen
Too blind to comprehend
A serene non-reaction
As the pale light crowns their heads

An inanimate resonance
Unwilling participation
Their bodies pulse the doom psalm
A choir of ruination

Oscillate (before the edge)
I see through it all

Worthless creatures, condemned, I swear
The trial of time leaves none unclear

As their fate draws nearer, panic sets in
Constricting into the mouth of it
All senses barren through the carbon lens

Silent is the herd
Only voices could escape
What's the value of a single life
Once all is stripped away?
