Blood on the lips of a disturbed flower
Reaching out to touch the flame of love
The sense of purpose brings tears to violence
Violence the ecstacy to lifeless unity

Insects devouring all the senses
Piercing through the wall of sleep
Wide-eyed scrambling in the darkness
Shining the blinding light of love

The bird is struggling out

Breaking her teeth
On the black apple
