I found myself upon the
Banks of the rivers green
The air so sweet and calm,
Impossibly serene
Birdsong held my heart
Across the misty shoal
Aloft in skirling art
Symbols yet unknown
They sang of loss and longing
I felt it all too well
Led into the sleeping grove
Unto my knees I fell
The dreaming trees a wonder
A vibrant forest hold
Warmed by scintillating rays
Luminous and gold

A lucent span unites
The earth and sky
Nameless color blossoms
Before my very eyes

Verdant path to radiance
Across the wooded streams
I beheld the living realm
Impossible machines

The sky became as windows
The trees, a living manse
Among the stellar spires
Twin moons began their dance

I felt the pull,
A tug upon my sleeve
I felt the aching in my chest,
I couldn't bear to leave
