Stoop not down, therefore,
unto the darkly-splendid world,
wherein continually lieth a faithless depth
and hades wrapped in clouds,
delighting in unintelligible images
precipitous, winding,
a black, ever-rolling abyss
ever espousing a body unluminous
formless
and void.
