Seethe

Is it cause I've bared my teeth
That I'm owed nothing
Though blunted, intimidating

I'm bones of everyone
Still I've yet to succumb
To a threat so lopsided

Eagerly you speak for
A plight you've not endured
Postured like a moralist
But spewing only empty words

I can't convince you
When your livelihood
Depends on
A lack of understanding
What could you learn?
When you depend on
Willful ignorance

Plainly an opportunist
Upholding no one but yourself
While i go on without regrets
You've lost the trust of everyone else
