Sitting here alone, tears falling from my eyes
Heart shattered like glass, no more alibis
Every word you said, now just echoes in my mind
Can't believe I trusted you, how could I be so blind
All these years of trust, now it's time to say goodbye
Like a broken record, our story's reached its last cry
& though it hurts, I'll keep my head up high
& find my strength, spread my wings and learn again to fly, though
Still moving on, it's time to let go of what was had
It's bittersweet knowing I can't live in the past
Cause memories haunt my mind, like ghosts of what we were
But the hurt keeps pushing me to seek a different cure
Still I miss our flames, burning bright in harmony
But now the fire's died, and we're just ashes in the breeze
After building our castle high, to only crumble to the sea
Now finished picking up the pieces, alone but free

I fell for her charm but it was all just a disguise
Caught and got lost in a world of lies
The arguments would ensue, then trust would fray
The home became a battlefield, where emotions sway
Yet through the tears and pain, tried to find a way
