At Journeys End

As the haze clears I see
Remnants of an existence
Soon long forgotten.
Here where reason reigns
The light fell from life.

For now at it's end, the lie.
A past returned to us.
This kingdom wrought in hate.

A journey beyond thought.
Sorrow in pain was sought.
No longer ruled by fear.
