As Night Approaches

When night is upon us
Its silence, breathing
My silence, a forgotten curse
Dawned in silk white

Winter is now
While a shadow rises
It will soon come
The new sun is ever so
Blowing softly into my soul

After the fall of my world
I see the women of night
Casting their black shade
Into the light
