Despondency

(As I sail for the ocean
I lose myself at the border
Now that I can't see the shoreline
Am I lost in open water)

I can't keep my head above water
Waves crashing they pull me down
Farther and farther
Is my fate to be lost at sea
I see lights in the distance
Searching for me

Falling I'm drowning I gasp for air
Every breath that I take feeding my despair
As I'm sinking I hear screaming in my head
Should I swim for the surface or let it end

My life's a catastrophe
I'm losing a part of me
I've got no control
I can't even find my way home so-

The sight of these walls in my head I have built
