Witness to atrocious deeds of flesh
The Earth, gulping down the extracts of humanity
Swilling the myriad of flowing memories
Now slowly sinking deep into the writhing throat in the dark

Strayed with sorrow
Estranged and thrust upon a path that led into subsoil
Immersed in lonesome tears
Wither now once blooming cheeks
And growing colder is the heart
Faded has the eye once friend of grass, heavens and peaks
And long like time itself will be the sleep, when Nil her only suitor

And then the spinecrawlers came

Into eye they crept, within throat they linger
Wormtrails weaving pictures ever twisting
Within heart they fester, straying into cavities anew

Many a dreamless mind uniting in image
Fornenst an embryonic eye, deforming its lineage

Neglectikon; a looming vermiform to ensnare the preterm
The forsaken to be nursed in curses nigh
And growing stronger is the heart
Settling in the dirt; a forlorn bairn beneath no sky
And long like time itself
The inveigling by the eye of Neglectikon
Flickering and gleaming with deceit
