Hazmat Birth

I am now lost, lost in my sins of flesh and blood
Delve deeper into the depths you thought you understood,
this is the everlasting scribe of the
words of denial, neglect and insanity
I am but a worm,
fossilzed in these walls of depravity,
redemption long since faded to illusion
Extinguished in the crimson waters of dilution,
a pupil penned slaughter wrought of vericose pollution

Intravenous blankets cover me with this false security
Masking the thought of my own self wrought impurity
From a martyr to a masochist I've destroyed my mind
Prisoner made of the escapist, my vessels are dry

Are you still listening? I know my words they sting
And would you care at all,, if I give in and fall?
Is your skin blistering? I know my words they sting

I've rejected the signs to embrace
the night, my soul is dead before me
For all that its worth, I emerge ablaze dripping in this hazmat birth
Maps of branching scars will show the paths
where the blood once flowed, lifelong horrors are sewn

And now I should have known now my like fate,
my heart has slowly turned to stone,
so as it cracks and then it breaks,
I fear its far too late for my salvation

Within these terrifying destitute blackened halls,
all about the floor used needles, strewn between blood stained walls
The daylight it fades and the darkness then
soon falls, raising the safe net to break my fall
Its here that I found the light I needed to survive,
sifting through syringes, somehow I regained my sight
