A Parody of Medea

I dressed you as my bride, I kissed the last goodbye to your lips
But I won't forgive your crime, as you did with mine, my fool, Medea.

And so you've slayed your children
You filled your chalice with their blood
You fool! Your heart fell in disgrace, my soul screaming, revenge!

You forgot the name of the gods, your wickness revealed
Your heart turned to stone, your time comes to an end
Your heart turned to stone, how could you? I'll eat your soul.

Medea, the crow is singing the lullaby of Charon
I'll seek you over the sea, across the lands
Even stones will scream your name, to guide me to you
Before all the gods will prepare your
trial, I'll be stained with your blood
This is the end of the poem, the end of everything
In the moment of your last sigh, in the moment of your last sigh
You'll enjoy death, you'll enjoy death.

Are we really throwing everything in the river of forgetfulness?
