Late november

Slowly I fade as my mind is drained

The dusk closes in
darkness takes over
and reveals the state I'm in
slowly I fade

Twisted existence
the perspective is turned
into bewildered patterns
slowly I fade

Winter casts its shadow
breaks all connection,
reclaims the endowed
and casts me into oblivion

In the distance I see my reflection
stained glass clouding my Image
I feel the change into perplexion
as my mind is drained

The day darkens
my surroundings fuses in a haze
thrown into silence
as my mind is drained

Over a ground of simplicity
a cryptic net rises
a veil covers the sky
this mask has sealed my eyes

Into winter, the closure if the year
I am steered into this fear
I must endure this eternal evening sky
as November reaches its final night
