Led by the fire of consciousness
Stars in a long-broken sky
Mute is the voice that speaks to me
Deep within this paradox of life

Out there is a reason
Out there is a flame

Light without shadow
A story incomplete
The passing and the timeless
In this realm of spirit and matter

Dead is the mind that wanders
Blind are the eyes that see
Long is the path before us
Here and now only death will reveal

Pray to be free again
If only dark could turn to light
Respire and suffocate
Celestial symmetry
In the end all will rise and fall

Expanding
Contracting
Existence bound and carved in time
