Stray God I: Phantom Vision

And so, I was cast from the nirvana whence I came to be
The glorious and holy dwelling of the Gods
Exiled by my peers to live eternally as a derelict
Atoning ever for my sin, for my complacency

Yes, I strayed from my path
But it was not always so...

My fate was bound to the darkness from the very beginning
And thus I stand here today
By fault of man, have I witnessed my impartiality start to decay

Thus, one day...
The vice of man found a place in me
I'd forsaken the order, divine
In trifling with the affairs of the realm of men
"O' Peers!" I cried
"Shall we, undying, be still as ever doth the world pass us by?"

We are all blind...
We are all blind...

Even now, I hear those cries
Echoing evermore through my mind
In this perpetual abysm--my prison
Without a sense of the passing time...
