Maybe I could be somebody else
Trade this body for a couple days
Hide my baggage on the highest shelf
Swear they wouldn't notice anyway
Maybe I could try some different shoes
And walk a mile with nothing to lose
I'd go back to all the places where I lost the kid I knew
And maybe make some old dreams come true

Maybe I've been stuck on a path that was destined to make me nowhere
And maybe I've lost in a game I can't play for way too long
I know I shouldn't think about the things I could changed
It's all too much tonight
And if I changed 'em, I'd still probably get it wrong
