Smothers my urge to go berserk
And lets me survive in this society

Brave and thrusting I accomplish my task
Trying to pacify my restless soul
All my actions shall be based on virtue
To keep the blazing fire in me low

Shield and sword are my companions
But the ewer contains the torch
I ask the mirror for a picture of truth
And shut down the voices in my head
I overthink and overthink
My thoughts spiral and spiral
Can I achieve the highest good?
Or will my anger overwhelm me?
My natural rage will overwhelm me
