I Am the Light

A garden of mysteries for me
A garden of life and love
And mercies on high shining down on my heart
Pictures of doves on white ivory ceiling tiles

I claw on the walls of heaven I feel
The weight of the world on my shoulders again
And no one protects me cause I am alone
So leave me alone

Amazing in time how unwanted
I turn to a dog, it's god
He stifles my zeal
To advance with some vanity
Midsummer fires
My immaculate linens are burned

I claw at the walls of heaven I hear
The voices of all the cosmic gods
They're cursing my name now in thundering sound
As I fall down

Haze, my logical mind is kept in a maze
My body is burned for decades
My spirit is bound by immeasurable fear
But I am alive!
I am alive!

Crying for their salvation
Their souls are admired in service to me
