Coming‐Of‐Age Movie

Grew up in a backwarden market town
Got drunk when our parents were not around
Hang out after school and
We'd watch TV
Got lost in a coming-of-age movie
We'd all go to my place after school
You can bring your new friends
They're pretty cool
I felt it sometimes when I think about those days
Can't seem to get them out of my mind
I wish they left me going nowhere
And all my friends were staying over
Thought everyone went out and got a degree
