The Knife

I swallowed the knife
It's pain but that's life
I went outside
To siphon the blood
From out of my gut
The spilling vibrance
I haven't felt the same since

Breathe deep on slow walks
My clenched teeth have loosened up
Will this be the year I finally give in
Will this be the year that I accept the knife

Another year another cut more blood I'm throwing up

Can you help me clean this mess off of the floor
This is nothing new, this has happened before
