Confined

In the dark with the curse of consciousness
Locked in myself with no chance of escape
Forever trapped in this place of nothingness
Senses decayed, no direction or shape
Complete oblivion, no traces of light
Forever dreaming to be freed into the afterlife
My existence is an everlasting fight
Against this life, with nothing but time
Perception of place and form has eroded
No certainty of what's surrounding me
Living the endless process of a slow death
No ability to hear, feel or see
Screaming - for help but no one hears me
I'm the only one remaining
Feeling - as if I'm fated to be left to be
Living this hell: half dead, half living
Confined
After decades, my pain has been growing
Feeling as if there's no way to return
My mind decays as I suffer my destiny
Eternal misery, no death nor rebirth
Aeons will pass as I fall into oblivion
Suffocating in the depths of my own mind
I have become the very thing i'm afraid of
In my own self i'm eternally confined
