Acceptance

The path before us leads us ever blindly
Out to the edges of a lifeless world
Knowing my final day will surely find me
A curse we all must bear, and yet we never succumb

The truth I know
Is the rope that binds me
The fear that grows
Feeds the will inside me

With the time that's left
I won't fear the end
