Contained.
A place so rusted with sustain.

Curtains won't close all the way
Keeping blinding light at bay.
Stuck, never wanting to stay.

Incomparable and terrible.
Ranking has always been parable.

In our weathered, weary minds
I'd rather listen to noises outside than confide

An unimaginative adjective
To unreal obliviousness
Existing in the majority of us.
Planning. . . when will now be?
Trying to keep it for a second,
Always looking ahead and behind.

Time some have finally found,
Rewinding to hear the sweet sounds
Surrounding ears, eyes, and hands
That were bound.
