It Just Takes Practice

I'll get over you before too long just wait and see
And I won't need you any more than you need me
You just can't be that important my life can't be over yet
And I'm sure it just takes practice to forget

They say practice makes perfect well I'll just practice every day
My hurt is big but not so big that I can't make it go away
Someday I'll stop remembering although I haven't yet
And I know it just takes practice to forget
