Sleep When I'm Dead

It's not a brag that you know where all the plug sockets are in your local Wetherspoons. I've
heard you're being bullied by the head of HR and you don't know who to complain to. Mate, it's
unraveling, like party popper streamers hanging from the ceiling. I've heard you'll never lose if
you refuse to choose to give their game meaning.
But you'll roll the dice again anyway and pray that today's the day it gets better.
I'll sleep when I'm dead, dead, dead or when I am next in my bed. I hope that the latter comes
first, I'm shattered but could use more time on earth. I'll sleep when I'm dead or when I'm next in

Is it bad that I know to the second just how long it takes for me to get to bed from a booth? I
timed it once in the middle of the night, waving sorry to the traffic I ran through. Mate, I'm
unraveling. Not sure I can do this again. My head is pounding and I'm pound for pound the
worst I've been since the last time I said it was the worst I'd been before.
But I'll roll the dice again anyway and pray that today's the day I get better.
