Perfect World

I can be fooled I can be misled
At times I've let the devil put thoughts into my head
But I can sleep with myself

I can be tempted to want more than I need
At times I feel I'm a slave to my greed

No I won't proclaim
Perfection though I feel no shame
I live with what I know
We all reap just what we sow

Let my conscience be my judge
Imperfection is my plea

I've been told about heaven and hell
The seven sins and the dark and evil spells
But I can sleep with myself

No I won't feign innocence
Pleasure comes with consequence
