Scars

It's been hard for me to make it through, there was a time when I though I would lose.
I believed that my life would never change but I was wrong,
You made me feel just like I was somebody, You spoke a word at the right time now I live to tell the story,
I stayed strong and you gave me victory.
These scars of mine, they remind me that it was not over
Still I rise, where I should've died I'm alive and I am feeling fine
All because my Jesus, He was right on time.
Being alone in this would is so cold, they're wishing that it all comes tumbling down
You won't believe the things I've seen, but I've always know you'll never go
I'm not alone you're there for me Lord
So all of the scars and the wars that we fought, I'm thankful, I'm thankful for these scars of mine
