Staring at myself frozen in time
It's hard to look at where I'm at without wondering why
The years I've lost, the days I've spent and wasted with cries

Waves crash into my rib cage
Stolen breath and heartache entwined
I feel the cold surround me
No life for death, or sight for the blind

Like water filling lungs I suffocate on my pride
