Rite of Inverse Incarnation

Clearness obtained through the Serpent's hiss
my guide, solitary off your path!

Laid me to the dawn
lead me to the dusk
lead me where the roads meet
where possibilities become reality.

Rising sun, dying star: alone, with but a shadow
and a candle to bear.
And I swear, as though a thousand of you
I shall shine!

You made choirs of angels tremble:
but this furious chant of mine
shall live them speechless forevermore!

Both my essence and the essence of all disappear:
the sole light of this dragon torch
has obscured the radiant splendour of the Sun.

Who am I? And what is all?
Overcome by the sovereign blaze of this secret:
I am as I am no more.

While you gazed within yourself,
I looked into my shadow:
there foresee that and comprehend that thou art not

On this place of solitude slowly the design
becomes clearer: and I see all vividly,
as the opposite circle completes itself ...
I become his Otherness.
