I still remember her blue eyes, and the way her lips fell
And in that moment, I knew there'd be no one else
That all changed so fast for me, she went off for school
Now she's the campus queen, and I'm a small town fool
I feel like I'm drownin' above water, with no one to help
Like my dreams were stacked in a glass jar, that fell off the shelf
