I am the Dude

The Winter never killed me
It usually never does
But it took another chip or two
And it changed me from who I was

And all my clothes
Are covered
In cat hair
And pot smoke

And I've been watching some old movies
And I've been catching up on reading
In the minorest of all ways
I can say I've been succeeding

We've got a good thing going
If only for a while
We're talking and it's nonsense
We're hiding stupid smiles

And I don't think
I should feel guilty
For living
In a way that makes me happy

And I've been going to the gym
And I think it's paying off
I've been trying to put my phone down
But the gravity is strong

We're all trying our best
And it all can be so hard
But when we look back on our progress
You can see we've come so far
