Of written words haunting.
Ill-humors keep me,
From relieve of sleep.
Twin suns setting,
Upon the Lake Hali.

Tempted by eldritch voice,
I came here seeking
The King in Yellow!

Strange is the pallid sky,
And nights where black stars rise,
But stranger still is Lost Carcosa.

In xanthous robes,
A figure sits hollowed.
Upon his throne,
His voice is not his own.
Behind a mask to
Hide his wicked form.
And I must follow...
