The Woman We Are Looking For

The flowers we bought for our home
Have long since died
You are close to me but i am alone
While I listen to the wistful songs of summer
Life is so different this summer
And we have become like strangers
Time has stood still
And I am going nowhere
You are drifting so far in your boat of indifference
You are like my druggy friends who died or deserted me in the end
So many die, so many make me sad
And what is left for me?
